About the Featured Design: Tempe Arizona’s Apache Boulevard, with its rich history of iconic signage, has remained a bellwether landscape for the continuous flux between university and city architecture, campus and urban life. In honor of this tradition, Bobby designed “Sign Remix” which blends historical signage with contemporary materials. This 20’ steel sculpture can be seen at Valley Metro’s Apache Blvd and Rural Road Tempe Streetcar stop. Our commemorative t-shirt features the “Sign Remix” illustration as designed by Tim Brennan of Great Not Good Co.
